Previously, we reported that a huge group made of former SAS troops were headed into Ukrainian territory to help fight against Putin’s forces. The news was followed by a range of statements, some calling it false and others telling both current and former British soldiers to stay out of Ukraine.

We are now happy to report that SAS troops have officially entered the building. Ukrainian troops in Kyiv are being trained on how to use British-supplied weapons to take down Russian tanks.

Officers from two separate battalions that are working within Ukraine reportedly told The Times that our Special Forces have begun helping train fighters on Ukraine’s side.

So far, the UK has avoided getting too involved in the conflict to try and avoid a potential third world war scenario. However, while it has refrained from directly entering the conflict, it has continued to extend its support to Ukraine in both military and humanitarian aspects.

Unsurprisingly, the fact that SAS troops are now training Ukrainian soldiers has not gone over well in Russia. Local media in the country have warned that this could mean the conflict will escalate even further. World War Three, according to them, has already been set into motion.

At present, Ukraine has handed over more than 3,600 anti-tank weapons. What Ukrainian farmers are unable to steal will mostly be blown up thanks to the help of our lads.

Ukrainian Captain Yuriy Myronenko told The Times UK military trainers familiar with NLAWs initially weren’t available so soldiers “had to go on Youtube to teach ourselves”, adding it’s possible to learn in “five to seven minutes”.

“After that we had good training. British officers were here two weeks ago in our unit and they trained us really good. And because we have had successes, we have self-confidence now,” he said.

Over the course of the last few days, more and more civilians from Ukraine have been joining the fight, many of whom have no prior training. Britain may have pulled its troops out of Ukraine, but the SAS troops who are helping step in as trainers are making a huge amount of difference.

The exercises made the Ukrainian troops feel more confident. Meanwhile, the MoD has refused to comment on the matter, predictably. Despite their silence, we know that the UK military will continue to lend a hand wherever it can.
