Forces Penpals was launched in 2002. As an old fashioned letter writing service for the British armed forces. Letters were lovingly chosen by hand. And, sent to specific people out on deployment in Iraq at the time. This history of Forces PenPals is extremely rich with innumerable success stories.
The response was tremendous and the original owner soon found that she was struggling with the demand. So, she realised she had to have a website built. Although dating app development costs were quite high. She believed that a community and support network for the military was a worthy cause and worth investing in. And, that’s what makes Forces PenPals’ history rich.
Forcespenpals.net went live 12 months later, 1st November 2003.
The community of Forces PenPals has gone from strength to strength and we are now operating in the US and the UK with well over 290000 military and civilian users.
