It has been a couple of weeks of us appreciating the amazing efforts that men and women in uniform have been making for us all in the wake of the pandemic.

From military doctors who are going above and beyond to keep people safe to cadets who want to do more and are making delivery runs for the community – what aren’t they doing?

The Royal Family has just begun resuming its in-person activities and engagements. Princess Anne wasted no time in letting her appreciation be known to all. Her very first trip was to the Duke of Gloucester Barracks in South Cerney, Gloucestershire, where she met those in uniform and thanked them for their role in helping fight Covid-19.

She was surveying the work being done by the Royal Logistics Corps during her visit. The outfit has been helping the vulnerable during this crisis. It has famously helped build new Nightingale Hospitals across the UK to help with the influx of patients. The work they have done has gone a long way to provide support to the NHS.

The people in charge of keeping us safe are doing everything they can to make sure that remain so. It is up to us to make sure that our soldiers have the support that they need.

During her visit Princess Anne practiced the needed social distancing protocols that are in place, and we should too.
