When you're hungry there is nothing better than enjoying a nice snack.

However, one restaurant has taken its love of a hot dog a bit too far after it created the largest chilli cheese hotdog in Europe.

Amazingly, the 1.4 kg calorific treat only costs £29.95, which is a bargain when you consider how much stuff is in it.

Dean Key, director of Smokey's Joint in Walsall, said the hardest part of the process was sourcing a big enough sausage and so they had to order the skins especially from Holland.

"It's pure beef sausage. We wanted to make sure the ingredients were of a really high quality because if you're going to eat that much of something it has to taste good," he added.

Mr Kay stated no one has been able to finish the snack as of yet – indeed half way is the furthest anyone has managed.
