International Men’s Day should be used for more than just celebrating the many things men in uniform do for us. This year has been unprecedented in many ways, and our boys have picked up arms against Covid-19 in addition to everything else.
The nature of their jobs makes people think that military men are these strong and rough creatures that don’t require any help or support. The alpha male mentality doesn’t help either. But this is the right time to check on the men in our lives and make sure they’re doing okay.
The British Army gave us this excellent video of our soldiers talking about what it means to be a man. Stuff like this makes us want to support our soldiers even more.
