The videos, pictures and memes have been going viral for a while now, and they help showcase how utterly unprepared Russia was for the pushback it has received from Ukraine’s forces and its people.

In the midst of one of the worst conflicts we have seen in a while, with Russia upping the aggression by going after civilian targets, Ukraine has responded by showing the world just how tough it’s people are.

Many users are documenting many of the heists, and these farmers are making it all look as easy as taking candy from a baby:

Many of them have a good sense of humour:

Some of the stuff is pretty high end:

They’re making a party out of it:

They’re using whatever they can to steal whatever they can:

Never has a war seen something like this:

They’re even taking abandoned stuff for themselves:

This is so normal…

And what we end up with is mostly this:

The best part of all this is that the Ukrainian National Agency for the Protection against Corruption (NAPC) has basically said that anyone who snags a Russian tank or other war equipment can keep it without having to delcare it for taxes.

“Have you captured a Russian tank or armored personnel carrier and are worried about how to declare it? Keep calm and continue to defend the Motherland! There is no need to declare the captured Russian tanks and other equipment, because the cost of this … does not exceed 100 living wages (UAH 248,100),” NAPC’s press service said.

There are also reports that suggest that Russians are abandoning equipment and vehicles when they run out of fuel. It goes to show the lack of planning or intelligence that has gone into this war. Putin’s ego is getting his men killed, and putting innocent Ukrainians at risk.

Meanwhile, the famers who are stealing all the equipment think it’s not a hard task to execute.

One tractor driver told media: “The principles of tank management are the same as those of a tractor. This is a common thing for us. The only problem is that the tank takes a lot of fuel.”
