Army dads really know how to get things done. Their kids are often disciplined and yet full of life. The kind of values that you get being raised by someone in uniform really do transform your entire life for the better. So, what do army dads do different?
They give the best surprises
Military dads are known to have their finger on exactly what their kids want. And most often what their kids want is them.
They know how to have fun
Sure, a military dad can be a stickler for the rules, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to make their child’s day go from dud to delightful. Their sense of adventure almost always means that there will not be a dull moment in the household.
They’re problem solvers
For military men, there isn’t a single problem that their kids can face that they wouldn’t be able to solve. They know the right way to do it and they know all the shortcuts, and they make sure their kids do, too! They innovate and improvise as and when needed – and with time their children learn to do this too.
They teach you how to handle the world
But they do it in a way that still lets you know how much they love you. Military dads understand how the world works better than anyone, and they pass that knowledge on to their kids. It isn’t just about getting the right grades or hitting the right scores, these dads try to pass on real-life wisdom. What they teach can’t be taught with just books.
They’re quick on their feet
If anything, military personnel probably invented thinking on one’s feet. They are always mentally present no matter what the situation and they are always there for their children. It is not possible for you to get hurt on their watch, that’s for sure.
