What Does Diffy Mean?

Branch: British Army.

Definition: This is a word that comes from the Second World War, and it’s a shorter form of deficient. It was typically used to refer to someone who was unreliable, not up to the mark, or causing problems, i.e. deficient. It can also double to mean “missing,” and it’s mostly used to refer to material things that are lacking. In the context of a relationship, it can refer to someone who’s either not particularly great at handling their duties as a partner or someone who’s flakey.

Example: It’s a series of misfortunes with those two. First they were diffy a stable income, then they were diffy a stable home. If I were them, I would just postpone the whole thing till they got themselves into a better position.
