What Does Deck Mean?
Branch: Royal Navy.
Definition: Deck, as you can probably tell, refers to the floor. But in the Royal Navy, it’s also used to refer to someone who has been knocked down. When it comes to relationships, it can be used to refer to a sudden and not-to-happy change in a relationship, like being shocked.
Example: We thought they were headed for a happy ever after but I think his decision to quit his job did deck the relationship for good.
