What Does Brown Job Mean?
Branch: Royal Marines, Royal Navy and RAF
Definition: Typically, this is a term that is used for the British Army by everyone apart from the people in the armed forces. “Brown Job” refers to the khaki clothes that are worn by the boys and girls in the army. This is in contrast to, for instance, the navy, who are known for their blue uniforms.
Example: She’s been infatuated with boys in uniform for many years now. But her most frequent obsessions are always centred around the brown jobs she finds. Those boys are trouble. There are no two ways about it.
