A young polo player has vowed to raise money for troops injured while serving their country.
Toby Addison pledged his support for the Help for Heroes charity after being named the most promising ten-year-old polo competitor in the country at a championship held in Surrey, This is Sussex reports.
The award has been created by the family of former soldier Lieutenant Colonel Rupert Thorneloe and Toby admitted he was surprised to have been presented with it.
He said he was going to carry out a number of fundraisers to generate cash for the soldier charity.
"I'm going to sell Help for Heroes wristbands and I'm going to do sponsored runs because I like running. I'm also going to do a cake sale," the youngster explained.
Shaun Wilson, a 20-year-old man from Kendal, recently faced his fear of heights and took part in a sponsored bungee jump to raise cash for the cause.
