Web ‘can help people find love’

The internet can be used by people who are keen to find that special someone.

This is according to an article in the Daily Telegraph, which noted that the "web can help you" no matter what "you're looking for in a potential partner".

It added that as long as people exercise "sensible precautions" when it comes to face-to-face meetings, then it is a perfectly fine medium to use.

With Valentine's Day on the horizon, the paper observed there is still plenty of time for individuals to find love.

According to the information outlet, "time-pressed singletons purposefully looking for partners" should turn to the internet in their quest for a date.

Barbara Lavi, a family therapy specialist, recently stated that after Christmas people will be more likely to go onto the web for this reason.

This is because they have spent so much time being surrounded by companionship over the festive period.
