Tyra Banks is ‘ready for a family’

Tyra Banks has revealed she is ready to start a family.

The 38-year-old supermodel, who is not dating anyone at the moment, admitted she wants to become a mother sooner rather than later.

Appearing on Steve Harvey's talkshow, Banks said: "Really, I'm ready to have some babies. Yeah I want babies. I've always wanted them."

The host and founder of US reality TV show America's Next Top Model, Banks has had a number of unlucky relationships in the past – including with actor Will Smith and director John Singleton – but appears to be ready to commit to the right person long-term.

If she is struggling to attract the type of men that interest her, then she could consider joining an online dating site in an effort to meet her Mr Right.

Banks joked that her biological clock is ticking and at 38, she needs to find the perfect partner as soon as possible.
