Some 500 members of the armed forces are to get free tickets for the England v Wales game tomorrow (September 6th).
Tickets For Troops – which supplies serving members or those medically discharged with free passes to events – has confirmed the FA has given the allocation for the Euro 2012 qualifier.
Steven Gerrard, who is a patron of the charity, noted the system is a "very simple way of respecting their courage and their sacrifices".
Former Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers strike Alan Shearer added: "I am sure this will make a major difference to our armed forces."
England are currently top of Group G and will be looking to secure all three points against Gary Speed's Wales outfit.
Since being established in 2009, Tickets For Troops has received over 260,000 passes to a range of different events.
It currently has nearly 100,000 members signed up to the service.
