Teenager keeps pet lizard called Fluffy

When you think of pets, images of dogs and cats usually come into your mind.

However, David Robson didn't fancy a furry friend and instead opted for a lizard to be his pal.

Ironically, the pet is called Fluffy and the 18-year-old takes him for walks on a lead like other four-legged friends.

The reptile was quite small whenever he got him, but now it has grown to measure 5ft, including a 3ft tail.

Amazingly, the teenager revealed the lizard is friendly with the family's other pets, including cats and dogs.

"When he is really warm and has been under his bulbs for ages he has loads of energy – he can run as fast as the dog can," Mr Robson stated.

I can only imagine the weird looks that the young man must get when he is walking down the road with Fluffy, while I imagine that many people would be very scared.
