A tattoo marathon is being staged in an effort to generate funds for brave soldiers hurt in the line of duty.
Richard Hughes, a former serviceman with the First Battalion Coldstream Guards who spent time in Iraq, Ireland and Germany, is staging the event at the Angels and Demons studio in Warndon, Worcester News reports.
The spectacle is to last for 24 hours and Mr Hughes is to perform all the ink work himself.
He remarked: "It's about time our boys were recognised for the tremendous service they give to our country. It's such a good cause."
Many soldiers will approve of the fundraiser, the tattooist claimed, as a lot of troops have body art themselves as it is a way of keeping memories.
