Talking toilets tackle drink-driving

Drink-driving is a serious issue and something that can never be condoned.

Governments are always looking for innovative ways to tackle the problem and it seems officials in Michigan, US, are not afraid of thinking outside the box.

When men use the toilets in bars up and down the state, they are greeted by a voice saying: "Have you had a few drinks, maybe a few too many? Then do yourself and everyone else a favour: Call a sober friend or a cab."

The urinal cakes have been programmed to respond when they feel pressure and I'm sure a few men have been left perplexed by the invention.

However, if it gets individuals to consider how they are going to get home then it will be worthwhile.

The only problem is that drunken males may think they are going crazy when they look down and find a toilet talking to them.
