Sporting stars are set to support soldiers who have been injured on duty by joining a charity event in Sheffield this September.
Leading golfer Danny Willett is among the participants of a special Pro-Am tournament, the Sheffield Telegraph reports.
They will all head to Abbeydale Golf Club on September 19th and money raised from the challenge will be handed to Help for Heroes.
It is thought the collaboration, which could also include golfing stars Mark Foster, Simon Wakefield and Iain Pyman, will raise approximately £30,000 for the charity.
"Former England cricket captain – and honorary life Abbeydale member – Michael Vaughan has very kindly indicated his willingness to influence top names in the sports world to participate, subject to their other commitments," says captain of the club Andy Coulton.
Another sports star known to support the charity is England football captain John Terry, who recently told the Sun he finds soldiers a real source of inspiration.
