Scientists create deodorant sweets

Edible deodorant candys have become a massive hit in the US.

Deo Perfume Candy claims to aromatise as it evaporates through the skin and so people are desperate to nibble on the sweets.

They are the brainchild of Belgium-based manufacturer Beneo and although the product is not yet available in the UK, it could well be a massive hit whenever it is finally introduced.

"Science and nature have come together to make a functional food that leaves your skin with a beautiful rose fragrance," its maker said.

Apparently, if individuals consume four sweets and wait for six hours, they will start to smell lovely.

Some people may be sceptical about the benefits of the candy, but I'm sure most individuals will not take much persuading to eat a bunch of sweets every day!

These treats are likely to find themselves in a lot of Christmas stockings this year.
