Single soldiers looking for love may want to make online dating a part of their New Year resolutions, as it has been suggested finding love on the internet could be a popular choice for many.
Writing for ADI News, Mark Whysall noted people may like to welcome in 2011 by having a go at digital courtship, as opposed to the usual attempts at losing weight or quitting smoking.
The expert claimed a New Year's resolution could mean locating "that special someone to fall in love with. Online dating may be the answer to help with that resolution this year".
He advised people to avoid opting for lifestyle changes that are too difficult to achieve – such as shedding masses of weight – but recommended simpler options, like turning to the web for love, can prove fruitful.
The specialist recently observed couples could enjoy the festive season together by spending time with one another's wider families.
