An author has used her experiences gained from online dating to pen a new novel.
Louise Gibney has completed her first book, entitled Girl Meets Boys, the BBC reports.
She has met a variety of characters while looking to meet her ideal partner via the web and many of them feature in the publication.
"I know lots of people who have made online dating work and even got married as a result," the 26-year-old remarked.
Ms Gibney stated it has become far more mainstream than it was in the past and she met her current boyfriend of two years through an internet matchmaking site.
The writer is hoping her novel will be a hit and has included plenty of amusing tales to entertain readers, the news source notes.
She might have had similar stories to those of playwright Ruby Miller, who recently wrote a theatre production based on her views about online dating, the Islington Gazette reported.
