Old people are the latest group to have shown a desire to sign up to online dating sites and search for love on the internet.
The New York Post has told how grey-haired singletons are increasingly looking to the web in order to meet up with like-minded individuals.
Liz Defore, 68, told the newspaper: "I have hundreds of men trying to hang out with me."
Ms Defore, who is from southern California, signed up to several platforms last year and has attracted about 600 messages in total.
Judy Tatman, also 68, is another who has turned to the web in her hunt for a partner and she noted she has been going out on at least one date each week thanks to online sites.
Several factors have contributed to the trend of older people using online dating, including rising divorce rates, longer life expectancy and recharged libidos.
