Single soldiers eager to find love this Valentine's Day through online dating should try not to come across as too desperate to prospective partners.
This is because Denise Baptiste, writing for One India, has suggested singletons take a more 'hard-to-get' approach when hooking up over the internet.
The relationship expert advised: "Though you might seem desperate this Valentines Day to get a lover, do not make it seem so to the other person."
She explained being too upfront can result in a would-be lover getting the wrong impression or even taking advantage of the other person's perceived loneliness.
However, Ms Baptiste added that online dating can easily be the source of blossoming romance, as a close friend of hers recently got married after meeting her future husband through the medium.
In a recent article on Eva-news.com, Ewa Grzybek recommended people put their best foot forward and make a little effort when trying to locate that special someone through internet courtship.
