Online dating is evolving as people increasingly look to find love on niche sites.
This is according to Laurie Davis, who has founded her own website to coach people about how to be successful on the web, Fox News reports.
Mr Davis met her husband through the internet, so is trying to impart her expert knowledge to others.
"Niche sites that are popping up now are much more exciting because they're giving you access to a much more select group of people," she added.
Hot soldiers looking for love on the web may be interested in Ms Davis' comments.
As individuals increasingly use social media as a key part of their lives, they may find this is the best medium to meet their perfect partner.
Ms Davis, who is also the dating expert for the New York Examiner, noted she has a "passion" for helping singles in the online world.
