Live TV can sometimes catch people out and leave them red faced.
Your guard has to be up at all times if you want to avoid making a fool of yourself, as evidenced by the experience of Doug Luzader in the US.
After the presenter of Fox News said "Doug Luzader is live at the scene with an update on all of this. Doug, good morning, good to see you", the cameras turned to the man.
However, he was caught out taking a nap and his interviewer was unsuccessful in his attempts to wake him.
It meant that, rather embarrassingly for the network, they had to cut away and move onto the next item.
Mr Luzader has had a bit of a nightmare here and no doubt he'll face some stern words from the top bosses.
Although I do feel sorry for him, as he must have been knackered if live TV wasn't enough to keep him awake.
