An ice cream parlour in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, is asking the public to come up with a new flavour as it seeks to raise cash for Help for Heroes (H4H).
Knickerbockers has launched a competition to introduce an original recipe and 20p of every ice cream sold will go to the armed forces charity, the Shropshire Star reports.
Paul Lee, who owns the store, noted they support a good cause every year, adding that H4H is "very worthwhile".
In terms of the flavour they are after, Mr Lee observed: "We're just looking for something new and creative – something that's never been done before."
Lynne Fox – H4H's Shropshire coordinator – and Barry Allen of The Best of Bridgnorth website will be the judges that decide on the winning entry.
Chocolate with marzipan chunks, beetroot and tropical fruit with vanilla are among the suggestions they have already received.
People can find out more about the competition at knickerbockersicecreamparlour.co.uk.
