The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and the Forces Children's Trust are set to benefit from a charity motorbike ride.
A group of riders will travel from Land's End to John O'Groats on two wheels, the Somerset County Gazette reports.
The 17-strong collective have not set themselves a specific fundraising target, but hope to collect a lot.
Toni Ellison, who is planning to ride pillion on her father's motorcycle, told the paper: "Both charities do a lot of good work in supporting our troops and their families and they need all the money we can raise in order to continue to do this work."
In total, the group will be covering over 1,000 miles in order to collect money for the good causes.
The Forces Children's Trust has a number of famous patrons, including Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne, singer Tony Hadley, actor Damien Lewis and snooker player John Virgo.
