Kimberley and Jessica Spauls want to aid individuals on the lookout for Mr or Mrs Right, the Grimsby Telegraph reports.

For some people, getting a penpal could be the first step to finding that special someone, while others prefer face-to-face meetings.

According to Kimberley, hooking up in the flesh is important as you get to "decide for yourself whether they are the one for you or not".

Those who are keen to start a long-term relationship could look to use the web to find someone with similar interests.

Last month, relationship psychotherapist Paula Hall stated people who are trying out online dating for the first time should seek the advice of their friends.

This is because they can help them produce a profile that is reflective of the kind of person they actually are, which could avoid uncomfortable meetings with potential suitors.
