Mark Cavendish and Peta Todd have lent their backing to a motorbike challenge that should see lots of money raised for armed forces personnel injured while serving their country.
The cycling star and his page three girlfriend said they are supporting three former soldiers as they look to ride 6,500 miles across nearly 20 counties to generate funds for Help for Heroes (H4H), the Sun reports.
It is anticipated that the challenge will take two weeks to complete, with the riders out on the road for up to ten hours a day.
Cavendish described the fundraiser as a "great thing" to do, adding H4H is deserving of all the donations that come its way.
He stated: "I urge anyone to give what they can for this mission, it's a gruelling trip and a seriously big effort."
Todd is a patron for the military charity and said the efforts people go to in order to raise money for the good cause never fail to impress her.
