A man is undertaking a 4,000-mile charity bike challenge in order to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Eddie Repton is visiting all 100 British Military Fitness (BMF) locations in the UK, while he will also carry out an outdoor physical session at each of them, the Belper News reports.
The expedition is expected to take five months and he noted the inspiration for it is "because not enough is being done to help wounded soldiers".
Of the trip, which he has already started, Mr Repton added: "It's really great and everyone I'm meeting along the way is being really helpful."
Once he has completed this, he will then be spending the next four years cycling around the world.
Mr Repton estimates it will cost between £40,000 and £50,000 and he has sold his house to fund the project.
BMF runs over 400 classes a week in 105 parks throughout the UK.
