Do you consider yourself to be a bit of a daredevil?

If you do, I reckon you'll still have to go some way to match Felix Baumgartner.

The Austrian thrill seeker is hoping to break the world record for the highest skydive by dropping from 120,000 feet.

To give you an indication of how high up that is, Mount Everest is around 29,000 ft and commercial aircrafts usually fly at 35,000 ft.

Baumgartner has spent five years developing a special suit that can handle the forces and pressure he will face.

If the stunt does not go off successfully, then his life could be in danger.

You have to take your hat off to someone who has this kind of dedication and I hope for his sake that everything works out well.

The current freefall record is held by Joe Kittinger, who leapt 100,000 ft in 1960.
