Man has near miss filling up car

Filling your car up with petrol is one of those tasks that rarely seems interesting.

However, one man in Russia got more than he bargained for when using a gas station.

After a lorry decided to make a U-turn, a bus wasn't left with enough time to stop and had to steer into the garage in order to avoid the truck.

Unfortunately, this merely took the vehicle in the direction of the man filling up his car.

But, the male was smart enough to move backwards very quickly in an effort to avoid a potentially life-threatening collision.

Luckily for the man, the two vehicles managed to miss him, but only by one metre or so.

One woman on the bus had her injuries assessed by the roadside, but apart from that everyone else was fine.

The close shave may is somewhat miraculous and the man may be reticent to fill up his car going forward.
