Man changes name to T Rex

For some people, having a cool name is a big deal as they want to stand out from the crowd.

However, in his desire to make sure that he is recognised, one man from Nebraska has taken it too far.

Tyler Gold has made the bold decision to legally change his name to Tyrannosaurus Rex.

So random was the request, the judge deciding on the matter asked Mr Rex – as he is now known – if he was taking the step just to avoid creditors.

However, once it was confirmed the only reason he requested the change was to pick something cooler, the man was allowed to proceed.

Mr Rex stated: "As an entrepreneur, name recognition is important and the new name is more recognisable."

You have to admire the man for wanting to be different, although I'm not too sure how girls will feel about becoming Mrs Rex.
