A man was given the fright of his life when he was set upon by a fox last week while sitting on the toilet.
Anthony Schofield had been going about his business in the bathroom of his Catford home when the animal burst in.
Mr Schofield ended up in a frantic chase around his living room, before the fox attacked both his pet cat and his partner Tanny Chapple.
"It had the cat round the neck. She was in shock, bleeding from her face. It locked itself onto my arm but still had the cat as well. There was blood everywhere," he told the News Shopper.
The homeowner even mused that he had not had "time to wipe" before leaving the bathroom in a panic.
Mr Schofield only managed to finally get rid of the fox when he dragged it outside, even though its teeth were still gripping his arm, before he later had to visit hospital.
