Rock band Kiss is to donate profits from a show in London to Help for Heroes.
The four-piece – who will soon release their 20th album, to be entitled Monster – are playing in the city as part of a promotional tour.
Gene Simmons, one of the founding members of the group, said they made the decision because of the "brave men and women in uniform here, in the US and in the free world" that put their lives on the line in the name of freedom.
"All they're trying to do is to come back into society after they've risked their lives," the bassist remarked.
He added the least they can do is show the armed forces members the appreciation and respect they deserve.
Since the band was formed in 1973, it has sold over 100 million albums and is best known for tracks such as Crazy Crazy Nights and Love Gun.
