Jesus Christ’s image ‘seen in tree stump’

The face of Jesus Christ has been seen in a rather strange location – a tree stump.

Visitors to Belfast City Cemetery in Belfast, Northern Ireland, discovered the tree had an eerie resemblance to the religious figure.

It is thought the tree was cut down two years ago and in the meantime, the mysterious image has appeared.

A video showcasing the discovery comes with the message: "An image has appeared on a tree stump in Belfast's City Cemetery. Upon close inspection, it's hard to tell just how this image got there."

This is not the first time people have seen Jesus in some random objects, including socks, tea towels and on the side wall of a Chinese takeaway.

It remains to be seen whether or not the location becomes popular as a result of the discovery and it will be funny to see where people next think they see the image of Christ.
