El Tawil has pledged to drive the 1,000-mile length of Britain using carriage horses in support of Help for Heroes, This is Wiltshire reports.
The paramedic was inspired to make the trek after meeting wounded soldiers who were training in the local area.
She said: "I salute all those involved with Horses Help Heroes … I urge everyone to support them in whatever way they can."
The group will take a replica First World War ambulance from Land's End to John O' Groats this summer, starting with 20 horses including two of her own, Molly and Rosie.
Ms Tawil is not the only one hoping to raise cash for the charity, as Damien English, a motorcycle rider, has decided to travel 300 miles between Portsmouth and Paris on a bicycle to raise more than £2,000, the Petersfield Post recently stated.
