Help for Heroes is to benefit from an endurance challenge that took place in Leeds.
A team of six regional sales managers from Leeds Building Society generated over £4,000 for the charity after taking part in a 'Triathlon-athon'.
The 24-hour event saw the group push themselves to the limit as they endured an eight-hour swim, an eight-hour relay cycle on an exercise bike and an eight-hour run on a treadmill.
In total, the participants raised £4,085 for the cause, which aims to help soldiers injured in battle.
Regional sales manager at Leeds Building Society Graham Binns said: "We are absolutely delighted to have raised this much to help wounded soldiers, sailors and airmen and help them and their families."
He added the challenge was an extreme test but there was great camaraderie within the team.
The Essex Police Band recently held its annual Christmas Cracker Concert to generate cash for Help for Heroes, Chelmsford Weekly News reported.
