Help for Heroes is set to benefit from a significant donation following the completion of a charity disco.
The event is due to take place at Sandy Village Hall in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire on April 19th, according to Biggleswade Today.
All of the money raised will be donated to the military charity, which works hard to support injured and wounded ex-servicemen and women once they return to everyday life in the UK.
As well as charging for the disco, other ways of raising money on the night have been devised, including a raffle. Indeed, organisers are looking for people who may be able to donate prizes.
By putting on a fun event to raise money for charity, those behind the disco are bringing enjoyment to the local community while teaching more people about the importance of Help for Heroes.
The charity is known for helping to get soldiers back on their feet after their time in the services is over.
