A Help for Heroes team have cycled 950 miles in an effort to raise cash for the charity.
The group, made up of 13 firefighters from West Oxfordshire and a soldier from Dalton Barracks in Abingdon, pedalled from John O’Groats to Land’s End in just 14 days, the Oxford Times reports.
More than £30,000 was donated in sponsorship money for the endeavour, which is to be split between the wounded troops organisation and the Fire Fighters Charity, as well as promoting awareness of motorcycle safety issues.
Bob Paterson, from Rewley Road Fire Station in Oxford, admitted the challenge was gruelling at times.
However, he added: "Overall, the ride was an amazing and, at times, emotional experience for everyone involved and for many, a dream come true."
Royal Air Force engineer Dave Lewis recently revealed he is to stage a sponsored walk along the Malvern Hills in an effort to raise funds for the Help for Heroes cause.
