The Help for Heroes concert recently held at Twickenham Stadium was The Wanted's best-ever gig, one of the band members has revealed.

Nathan Sykes, one of the five young lads who form the group, said the performance was very special because it was for such a good cause, This is Gloucestershire reports.

When asked what the act's best live show has been, the teenager replied: "It's got to be Help for Heroes based on the fact that it is an amazing charity and is really close to a lot of people's hearts."

He described the performance as great because it took place in front of 60,000 people, while the event also saw Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow sing together.

Tom Jones, Plan B and Alexandra Burke were also on the bill, the star explained.

Radio Today recently reported television personality Eamonn Holmes is to front a radio fundraiser – organised through GMG Radio's Real, Smooth and rock stations – that is aiming to generate funds for Help for Heroes.
