A woman from Cam has been speaking about the tremendous success of the barbecue she held in order to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Fiona Edwards teamed up with Cam Family Butchers to host an event at the green on Phillimore Road in the town, reports the South Cotswolds Gazette.
There was a host of entertainment options on show, including face painting, live music and a magic display, all of which combined to keep the crowd happy.
Perhaps the ultimate moment of the barbecue came when the Red Arrows thundered through the skies above it, showing off their iconic red jets.
Ms Edwards said: "The support was absolutely amazing. The weather was there and it only ran for four hours but people were still spending money up until the last minute."
In total, the event managed to raise £1,575 for the military charity thanks to the raffle, stalls and donations that were made.
