A number of volunteers from all four corners of Hampshire are due to bake cakes later this month in order to raise money for Help for Heroes.
The Winchester Colossal Cake Sale will take place on March 29th between 09:00 and 16:00 and attendees can be sure to get their hands on some delicious baked produce, reports the Southern Daily Echo.
Two venues in Winchester will be used for the event – the Brooks Centre and St Maurice's Covert – giving people a choice of where they can stock up on cakes.
There will even be musical entertainment at the Buttercross, adding a new element to the fundraiser for the first time.
Anyone with questions or a willingness to take part should contact Help for Heroes coordinator Sarah Walker.
But simply turning up on the day with some cash is the best plan, as all the money raised will go towards supporting former soldiers.

Anyone know a Jeff Brown Raf. Stationed in gaza ?
Think of their families hopefully they will be released
