A new leader is urgently required for a charity team that works hard to raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes.
The group in the St Ives area has already raised more than £15,000 for the good cause, but needs a figurehead if it is to tackle further projects, reports the News & Crier.
Ruth Moore has decided to step down from the head of the group after its next event, which is an autumn craft bazaar at Hemingford Abbots village hall on November 24th.
"We have raised so much money over the past four-and-a-half years that it would be a shame if it stopped," she explained.
Ms Moore went on to note that a supporting group of helpers is already in place, meaning the new leader would have plenty of backing for future events and fundraising drives.
Money donated to Help for Heroes goes towards funding support projects for members of the armed forces who have been injured in combat.
