Organisers of a family fun day in Wirral are hoping to raise as much money as possible, with the proceeds from the event set to be donated to Help for Heroes.
The Central Hotel in Birkenhead is putting on a grand fun day which will be held in its car park and beer garden, with plenty of activities lined up to entertain the guests, reports the Wirral News.
Raffles, a bouncy castle, games such as spot the ball, a barbecue and face painting will all be on the agenda for the fun day on August 26th.
Assistant manager of the hotel Jenny Grayson admitted she wants to raise at least £500 and do something worthwhile for a good cause.
"This year we will be raising money for Help for Heroes, as it is a charity close to me heart. My brother-in-law and some friends are in the army and I wanted to support them," she explained.
