A pub in Durham is to host a special fun day this weekend in a bid to raise as much cash as possible for military charity Help for Heroes.
The Travellers Rest in Belmont, Durham, is putting on a day of entertainment this Saturday (July 21st) and it hopes to attract plenty of people, reports the Durham Times.
Among the fun-packed options on offer to visitors include a children's entertainer, a tombola, a raffle and a cake stall.
A representative of Help for Heroes has promoted to attend and could be used to give more information about the cause that people at the event will be raising money for.
SG Petch, a local car dealer, has agreed a sponsorship deal and its name will be attached to the fun day.
Another highlight is sure to be a performance by singer Daryll Todd, who is due to take to the stage at about 20:30 BST.
