Frank Lampard has called for footballers to give more support to forces' charity Help for Heroes.
The England and Chelsea star admitted while the newly re-launched England Footballers Foundation has already raised more than £1 million for its partner charities Help for Heroes and Cancer Research UK, he thinks his team-mates could do more.
He told BBC Sport: "If we can help raise money and more importantly awareness of these causes, then we have a moral responsibility to do so."
Lampard – who described footballers as "very fortunate" – went on to add that Help for Heroes was a cause close to the hearts of many footballers because the work of the charity has "touched" them all.
The services the organisation provides for wounded soldiers were highlighted earlier this week by work beginning on a brand new £6.5 million recovery centre designed to help troops returning from conflict get back on their feet.
