An exercise bike challenge has so far managed to raise around £1,600 for servicemen and women injured in combat.
Staff at Romans Lettings took part in a fundraiser that took place across two days and involved 16 employees from various branches, Get Reading reports.
Participants were set the challenge of cycling for two hours a day in a relay that was held on three exercise bikes.
The team managed to clock up a combined distance of 1,096 miles, surpassing their initial target of 837 miles – which is the equivalent of the distance between Land's End and John O'Groats.
Joel Osbourne, lettings manager at the organisation, said: "We raised over £1,600 for Help for Heroes, a fantastic charitable cause that we’re delighted to support."
Brigadier Andrew Williams recently heaped praise on Help for Heroes fundraiser Denise Bennett, who has managed to collect nearly £3,000 for the charity through organising coffee mornings and raffles, the Nottingham Post reported.
