Drunk man phones police to complain about one-night stand’s snoring

Members of the emergency services in the US were called upon recently to deal with an incident of heavy snoring.

Benjamin Todd Duddles, 41, from Waukesha in Wisconsin rang the police to ask for a woman he had just slept with to be removed from his bed.

Mr Duddles argued his one-night stand had a serious snoring problem and he was finding it difficult to nod off after a night of passion.

A report from the Waukesha Police Department stated: "He was advised this was not a police matter as he allowed her in. He was provided the comfort of his couch and [advised] to work the issue out in the morning."

The man is believed to have suggested the woman was "snoring like a train" during the call.

At first, Mr Duddles did not admit he had gone to bed with the woman, but he later confessed to this when the police were dispatched to his property.
