A good picture is arguably one of the most important tools on the online dating scene and single soldiers wishing to boost their chances of success are advised to ensure their profile features a decent one.
Singles soldiers should ensure their picture is as accurate as possible, according to ology.com, which recommended steering clear of any images that are blurred or those from one’s childhood.
The website went on to state that claiming not to have a decent camera is not a good enough excuse because even if they do not own one, singles are bound to know a friend or relative who possess a digital camera.
“If you are too incapable of finding/taking a quality photograph, how could you possibly be capable of a relationship, or even planning a good date?” posed the site, which insisted quality is better than quantity when it comes to pictures.
Amelia McDonnell-Parry, a writer for The Frisky, also recently cautioned against using ‘text speak’ when online dating, as this can be a real turn-off.
